Sensitive & Dry Skincare Routine | LIFESTYLE

As I'm getting older, I'm trying to make more of an effort to look after my skin and take care to use the right products for me.  After putting my face through laser hair removal and bashing it with make up since my teenage years, it needs a bit of TLC.  I have dry skin generally and the laser has left it really sensitive to any change in products, so once I find something that works for me I stick to it.
Here's my skincare routine which helps me achieve a healthier, happier face!

So, I start by cleansing my face with these sensitive micellar cleansing wipes from Label B at Superdrug, they're super gentle and are really effective in removing the grime.   Generally speaking, I  use these for make up removal and cooling down, they smell incredible.  The whole range at Label B is pretty nifty and priced reasonably so I would recommend them if you're looking for something liner to your skin.

Next up I crack out the exfoliators and scrub away all the dead skin cells on my face, moving in circular motions around the face to encourage better circulation.  My favourite exfoliator at the moment is the Label B Refined Exfoliator as it smells incredible and soaks really well into my skin, there's always a glow to it after I've used it on my face.  If I don't have a lot of time I opt for the facial buff but if I'm doing my twice weekly 'deep' exfoliation then I always use the facial massage brush.

Finally, I finish off my splashing my face with some rose water toner and then rub in some gentle moisturiser.  My favourites at the moment are the Garner Skin Active range in rose water, it smells incredible and just look at that packaging! So pretty!

I typically do all of this on an evening on the weekend, it's become a Friday night routine when I just want to come home and take off the work wear and make up!  There's nothing better than fresh PJ's, fresh skin and your hair up in a bun.  That's life goals right there!
I picked all of the above up from my local Superdrug in the Mander Centre, which has just moved into a new sparkly and shiny home - it's got pretty much everything under the Sun in there and the staff are really friendly.  Also, they have wide aisles - sounds odd but when you're looking at the bottom shelf with your bum sticking out it's pretty off-putting when someone has to squeeze past you! So do go check it out, tell them I said hi!

And that's my skincare routine for sensitive, dry skin.  I hope you enjoyed!
