Shop Your Stash: Oranges And Lemons

Being a plus size fashion blogger is hard on the purse sometimes, and whilst I'm very careful not to throw myself into debt (been there, got the t-shirt) I do find that the majority of my cash goes on items in my wardrobe every month.  As you guys know, I'm trying really hard to invest in items I can utilise in different outfits and compliment clothing I have already so that I have a versatile fashion closet when I open up the doors!  So by 'shopping my stash' every month it's going to both encourage me to rummage into the back of the wardrobe, bypassing Narnia, and also show me where my key essential items are missing too.
This is all about finding a gem in what you already own and creating a blog post on it, letting go of a little stress that comes with being a blogger - even if it is only once a month.  Rummaging through the beauty products and racks of clothing with labels still on may procure me a beauty!

This month I have a right delve into the deepest parts of my wardrobe and managed to pull out a skirt that I haven't worn in over 3 years! Can you believe I've had a skirt that long and not swapped it or sold it?
So this is a past season John Rocha skirt that I got when the burnt orange trend was alive and well.  I teamed this with a simple black vest top and some leggings (as it was showering outside in the Midlands yesterday) and a statement necklace from my stash.

Sadly this skirt is a little on the small side for me and I spent most of the day re-adjusting it so it'll be stored in a bad I deem the 'swap bag' for the next swapping hulapolova! Still, good to road test it and see if I still like it, in this case it's given me an item for the next event!

Check out the other ladies in the challenge this month!
