Shop Your Stash

Last week I was perusing the usual social media networks and came across a challenge issued by Hollie (of PBB) which asked us to recycle items in our wardrobes to make a new outfit, or use products in a different way to create a different outcome, or knock up a recipe with a load of ingredients in your cupboards for a new meal. As soon as saw that the general idea of this was to promote being thrifty and saving some cash, I was in.
Being a plus size fashion blogger is hard on the purse sometimes, and whilst I'm very careful not to throw myself into debt (been there, got the t-shirt) I do find that the majority of my cash goes on items in my wardrobe every month.  As you guys know, I'm trying really hard to invest in items I can utilise in different outfits and compliment clothing I have already so that I have a versatile fashion closet when I open up the doors!  So by 'shopping my stash' every month it's going to both encourage me to rummage into the back of the wardrobe, bypassing Narnia, and also show me where my key essential items are missing too.
This is all about finding a gem in what you already own and creating a blog post on it, letting go of a little stress that comes with being a blogger - even if it is only once a month.  Rummaging through the beauty products and racks of clothing with labels still on may procure me a beauty!

I'd like to tell you I have an outfit planned and photographed for you to kick off this campaign, but unfortunately a dodgy curry from the local Indian has given me mild food poisoning so I'm writing this in my pajamas... in bed... watching the Princess Diaries.
There is, however, a host of gorgeous blogger babes who have not let the side down (sorry) and thrown themselves into the challenge this month so make sure you click their links below to check out their posts!

I'll definitely have a post planned for you guys next month in the challenge!
