Tuck In Your Swing

March, for me, has been all about making use of what I have in the wardrobe during the transition of seasons.  It's far too cold to be rushing out to buy maxi dresses and kaftans, but equally we have those bright, warm days that Spring often brings that makes us lose the over coats and biker boots.  Equally, with my holiday on the horizon it's not a great idea to be splashing about the cash when I have so many things to purchase from the duty free zone at Birmingham Airport (hello Chanel perfume and Dior make up!).

I've seen other bloggers make use of their patterned swings by tucking it into a skater skirt, therefore make a statement top, but I'm more of a casual jeans girl on the weekend.  I tucked in my Asos leopard print swing dress into my trusty Evans jeans, dropped the back to create a dip hem and rolled up the legs to make the jeans cropped.  I just paired the outfit with a pair of comfy wide fit black slippers from Simply Be and a leather necklace for a laid back weekend look!

I'm totally in love with this idea, manipulating how clothes are designed to be worn and mix it up to suit the situation - I have plans for my seven hundred other dresses to have the same treatment.  It's also a great way of cutting back on cost and saving those pennies for when something you love comes along.  Who needs t-shirts? I've got a shess!
