Simple Be Tall: Outfit Review

Blogger friends are the best, aren't they?
I got a message from the amazing Emma over at Meet the Millards, asking if I would like to collaborate with her and Simply Be in a project on their petite/tall range.  Being the little bundle of joy she is, Em needed a fellow blogger who was tall enough for the range and I was her first choice (amazing much?!).
As Em and I have such similar tastes in clothing, I let her pick the outfit and awaited eagerly for my bundle of joy in the post.

Pre-photography hair fluff up

This is the dog print skater dress in 37 inch length teamed with the tall fitting blazer from the range.  The dress length is good, sitting just above the knee, and wasn't deterred by my bust (which often makes dresses smaller for me in length, creating a 'tent' effect).  The print is so cute, little white Scottie dogs with red collars, and the fabric is a light cotton.  I did size up in this dress, pre-empting a boob bust-out that I sometimes get with buttons and I'm glad I did - it was a great fit in the next size.
The blazer is, by far, the best suit blazer I have ever had in my wardrobe.  It's the perfect length, fits perfectly to my shape and doesn't cut off the circulation to my arms.  I've been aching after a blazer for a while, it can take an outfit from casual to chic in one swift move, so I'm incredibly lucky that I've been gifted one!

I teamed the look with some red flats from the Jeffrey and Paul line, Marisota, and my new red bag from Just Fab.  I wore this for my Christmas day meal with the family and it was perfect!
This is the second time I've got items from the tall line and been impressed with the fit, it's made certain items accessible to me.  Hopefully in the future Simply Be will add more items to the range!
