Friday Night At The Theatre

Last Friday, I was lucky enough to grab some tickets to see Phantom of the Opera (London cast touring) before they sold at the Birmingham Hippodrome, I love a bit of theatre action so I was super excited to head to the city for a night out with some special ladies.
But what does one wear for the Opera?! I threw the question out on twitter, and the answers came flooding back as something simple, smart but (most importantly) something I'd be comfortable sitting in for 3 hours.

With that in mind, I turned to my recently bought simple black skater dress from Dorothy Perkins.  It's a simple jersey black dress, nothing overly special, but when teamed with a rocking leopard printed jacket and some Beth Ditto nude heels - it looks divalicious.
The leopard print jacket is from Tesco, bargain price at around £15 and the heels are from Evans (though, you may have to turn to eBay to find a pair if you want some after reading this).
My love of satchels is still ongoing, with this new addition of a wine coloured satchel from New Look (courtesy of my the gorgeous @camyale5)... it's my new everywhere bag, in that is literally never leaves my side and goes everywhere with me.
I have been eyeing up those funky coloured ones over at ABB though....

If you have opportunity to see Phantom of the Opera, please hit it - I was crying at the end, the backstage production and scenery is just phenomenal.  It's also a little something different to hitting the pub, right?
